want to get involved?
Worship doesn’t just happen on Sunday morning. It is built, prepared, and sustained by the hands of many people throughout the week.
Are you interested in getting involved with any of the roles below? Let Pastor Mark or any of the volunteers know!

worship committee
The Worship and Music Committee helps shape how Trinity gathers for worship, from planning liturgies and special music to creating welcoming worship spaces for the whole congregation. The committee typically meets four or five times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon in the library or by Zoom. New members are always welcome. Contact the church office to find out when the next meeting is.
music ministry
Music is central to worship at Trinity. Our choir welcomes all adults and teens 14 and up to sing at Sunday services and weekly rehearsals, no prior experience needed, and our combo of instrumentalists and singers leads worship throughout the year. We also welcome talented young musicians and guest artists to share their gifts during services, and each summer, while the choir is on break, the congregation chooses favorite hymns to sing together. If you would like to offer a solo, play an instrument, or simply want to know more, reach out to our Music Director, Mi-Young Kim, at music@telcsb.org and we will get you set up.

liturgical roles
Every Sunday, members of the congregation serve as lectors, reading the Scripture texts aloud during the service, as intercessors, leading the Prayers of the People, and as communion assistants, helping to distribute the bread and wine of Holy Communion. If you are interested in serving in any of these roles, contact the church office and we will add you to the rotation.
altar guild
The Altar Guild prepares the worship space for Sunday services, sets the communion table, and cares for the paraments through the changing seasons of the church year. We also help decorate the sanctuary for Advent, Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter. It is the behind-the-scenes work that makes every Sunday possible. New members are always welcome. Contact the church office to get involved.

sunday school
Each Sunday during worship, our Sunday school offers children age-appropriate teaching, activities, and conversation about faith before they rejoin the congregation for Holy Communion. We are always looking for caring volunteers to help lead and support this time with our kids. No special background or teaching experience is required, just a love for children and a willingness to share the story of God’s love with them. Contact the church office to find out how to get involved.
coffee hour
After every Sunday morning service we gather on the front patio for coffee and treats. We are always grateful for members who contribute baked goods. Throughout the year we also host larger seasonal gatherings on the patio, from a Fourth of July barbecue to festive holiday treats, adding a little extra celebration to the rhythm of the year. If you would like to bring something some Sunday, just let us know.
