The Santa Barbara Master Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Bill Cutter, comes to Trinity this fall to celebrate the birthday of English Baroque composer Henry Purcell, who was born on September 10, 1659. The program features choruses from his opera Dido and Aeneas as well as Come Ye Sons of Art, the ode he wrote in 1694 for the birthday of Queen Mary II. The Chorale will be joined by guest artists from The Dance Hub, led by artistic director and choreographer Carrie Diamond. We are delighted to host this concert in our sanctuary and warmly invite our congregation and neighbors to join the celebration.
